This is a digital remake of the original Tranquility album, originally released in early 1977 while Tranquility was on tour. Dan Holder, the lead singer/songwriter, toured with the band for 3 1/2 years, ending with a tour in the UK and Germany in 1978. With the help of Sam Ocampo, the album was rereleased in 2011 under the Adagio Music Co. label.

In its original format (LP, Cassette, 8-Track), the album made it to the Top 5 on the Christian charts in 1977 while Tranquility was touring. It has since been considered a "Christian classic" and still receives radio play around the world.
